We know water is good for us, but with soda, juice, coffee, tea, energy drinks, and other drinks so readily available, it’s hard to make the decision to choose water. Here is why it is important to drink water.
Keeps skin looking great. If your skin looks tired and unhealthy, so do you. Staying properly hydrated removes all the toxins that build up in you skin, and helps prevent it from drying out. If you have the opposite problem; puffy bloated skin, lack of water is likely your problem too. When skin doesn’t get water, it retains what it already had, leaving your skin cells full, puffy, and not too attractive. If you want to look beautiful, you should keep yourself hydrated
It’s cheaper. Sure, if you buy bottled water, it’s about as expensive as soda, juice, and coffee. However, studies have shown that tap water is usually as clean and safe as bottled water, and costs a whole lot less. If you have a problem with the taste of your tap water, buy a filter pitcher or one that attaches to the faucet. It still costs a lot less.
A healthy heart. When you’re properly hydrated, your blood is thinner and easier to pump. This means your heart has to do less work and ultimately lasts longer. Studies have shown that people who drink plenty of water have fewer heart problems.

Simple Slimming
Spring is right around the corner and retailers have already begun stocking their floors with warm-weather goods -- including swimsuits. Besides looking great on the beach, commonsense tells us that one of the best things you can do for your overall health is to drop a few pounds. Or maybe more than a few pounds.
Being overweight significantly increases your risk of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, high blood pressure, cancer ... the list seems almost endless. Plus, if you do get sick or need surgery, being overweight can make any treatments riskier.
It's easy to lose a few pounds, you just have to WANT it!!!
We all know that most people struggles with their weight after having a baby. Some people goes back to their normal weight almost immediately, others are on all types of diets to desperately lose a couple of pounds.
After having my child, I lost a few pounds but not to the point that I would be comfortable in a bikini. My beach vacation was coming up and I bought for the first time a 1 piece swimsuit. I felt very uncomfortable the whole trip and decided that first thing I would do when I got back was go on a diet!
On my first week back from vacation I went to my doctor and he said that to get back to my ideal weight I would have to lose at least 20 pounds.
I have tried many methods to lose weight before: diet pills after diet pills, no more carbs, no more this, no more that... you name it, I did it, and nothing seamed to work. I thought to myself that I didn't want to give up anything, and this time around I wanted to lose weight the healthy way.
I got some tips from my doctor and I started my own diet...2 months later I have lost 25 pounds.
